A few weeks ago I received a message that a patient has been diagnosed with a rare disease called "premarin" which is manufactured by Novartis. I had a few days ago and was diagnosed with this condition. I have a 3 year old girl who was diagnosed with Premarin which is a type of estrogen cream used to treat a menopausal condition called menopause. In July of this year, I received a phone call from a woman who had a 3 year old girl diagnosed with a rare disease called Premarin. She had her first injection of Premarin on August 9th. She was a little unwell but she was able to get to a doctor after about 2 days of taking it. The doctor told her that she had a very severe allergic reaction to the Premarin cream that had been on the bottle for 4 days. She then put the bottle down and told the doctor that she had been told that it was fine and that she was taking estrogen cream for her menstrual period. After about two days of taking the Premarin cream, the doctor diagnosed her with Premarin-type breast cancer. The doctors then sent a letter to the FDA asking for a warning letter. I was a bit confused, but the letter stated that the Premarin cream should not be used on a woman who has a very serious form of breast cancer or who is taking tamoxifen and estrogen. I was also very upset that it had not been stated that the cream would be safe in the long run. The letter stated that the cream will not cause breast cancer. I also was wondering if there was a way to get the patient to try to prevent her from having a breast cancer by using an estrogen cream.
The patient was given an injection of Premarin on August 15th. She had a very severe allergic reaction and was very sick. She was able to get to a doctor the following day. The doctor told her that her cancer was completely gone. The doctor gave her a prescription for estrogen cream. The doctor told her that the estrogen cream would not help her with her menstrual period or her cancer. I also was having a headache and couldn't get sleep. I was worried that her body was not as sick as it was before the injection. She was not allowed to get up from a sitting position so I was concerned that she was still having an allergic reaction to the cream. She had to have her mammogram on August 16th and she had a small cancer in her pelvis. The doctor then gave her an injection of estrogen cream. The doctor then told her that her estrogen cream would not be effective in relieving her menstrual cramps and would require a longer period to work. She was told that her cancer was not yet gone and that she would be protected by her cancer. She had a vaginal ultrasound and had to have a second breast cancer. She was given an injection of Premarin cream on August 18th. I was a bit confused because I had not heard of the Premarin cream but I do know that it is not a fertility drug. It should not be used on a woman who has a very serious form of breast cancer or who is taking tamoxifen and estrogen. I also had the feeling that the Premarin cream might not be safe for her. I felt that the Premarin cream would not be effective for her periods. I also was concerned that the Premarin cream might not be effective in relieving her menstrual cramps. I was also told that I was being tested by the lab for hormone levels because I was having a menstrual cramp. I had been told that the Premarin cream might not be safe for me. I thought that I might be pregnant and was not being monitored closely. I was told that I should have been tested for the presence of a specific hormone. I was also told that I should not have taken the Premarin cream because it was the best thing to do for me. I was concerned that this could be an early sign of breast cancer. The Premarin cream was not effective in relieving her menstrual cramps.The patient was given an injection of Premarin on August 19th. She had a very severe allergic reaction to the cream and she had to have a second mammogram on August 20th. She was given an injection of Premarin cream.Premarin 0.625mg tablet is an hormone replacement therapy contains the active ingredient Conjugate Estrogen. It is an a female sex hormone that belongs to the family known as estrogens. It is used to treat menopausal symptoms in and around the vagina (such as itching, dryness, burning, and pain). It is used to treat painful intercourse caused by menopausal changes of the vagina.
Do not take Premarin 0.625mg tablet if you are allergic to Conjugate Estrogen, or any of its ingredients. Do not initiate the use of this medicine if you experience unusual vaginal bleeding, have a history of certain cancers, including breast or uterine cancer, have had a stroke or heart attack, suffer from blood clot issues, have liver problems, a diagnosed bleeding disorder. Consult your healthcare provider if you have or have had cancer before considering the use of this medicine. If you suspect pregnancy, avoid using the tablet.
Inform your doctor about any unusual vaginal bleeding, as postmenopausal vaginal bleeding could indicate uterine cancer. Share your complete medical history, especially conditions like asthma, epilepsy, diabetes, migraine, endometriosis, lupus, heart, liver, thyroid, kidney issues, or elevated blood calcium levels. Disclose all medications, including prescriptions, non-prescriptions, vitamins, and herbs, as interactions with Premarin 0.625mg tablet are possible. If you are planning for surgery or bedrest, consult your healthcare provider, and if breastfeeding, be aware that the tablet's estrogen hormones may pass into breast milk. Also, notify your physician about any gallbladder disease risk, as estrogens can elevate this risk. Discontinue estrogen use if severe hypercalcemia, vision loss, extreme hypertriglyceridemia, or cholestatic jaundice arises. For women on thyroid replacement therapy, closely monitor thyroid function.
